Training & certification
The operator naturally has all the certifications required to carry out this work safely, including breathing air, aerial work platform but also an OPITO-BOSIET with EBS certification so that Off-Shore installations can also use our services.
If requirements are set for temperature emissions towards surrounding parts, we can make thermographic recordings of the temperature development through the adjacent construction and draw up a report on this. This can sometimes become critical, especially with high-alloy steels. The lance operator is trained and competent in the use of this equipment. We work with a professional Flir E85 thermal imager. Please indicate this in advance, this sensitive measuring instrument is not part of our standard equipment.

Thermal lances are always accompanied by heavy smoke development, for this reason, these activities can only be used indoors to a very limited extent.
If it is impossible or very impractical to transport an object outside, we can carry out the work indoors, but often this must take place outside regular working hours. The lance operator always works under compressed air, but bystanders must be protected from the noxious fumes released during the process. We think along with you about the right shielding to adequately protect the environment and installations.
